Just something to look into for those interested. A new community of interest has moved here on Livejournal and on Yahoo Groups. We left Meetup.com due to fees. Check it out if you wish. Thanks.

Eye of Providence is now committing to a minimum of two regular activites per month commencing in November, 2004:

1) The EoP Forum will meet on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30pm until 8:00pm. These meetings will consist of moderated discussions on various topics of an esoteric/occult nature. Although one can easily attend one Forum or numerous Forums from now until June, 2005; specific topics were chosen in a particular order to function as building blocks to one's overall understanding of Magick.

2) On the second Sunday of every month from 5:00pm - 8:00pm Eye of Providence will hold the EoP Social. These events, currently scheduled on the yahoo group calendar from November until June, will consist of entertaining gatherings designed to foster a community whereby open minded individuals can engage in casual conversation and share thoughts and ideas with other open minded individuals. Periodically, the EoP Social will be replaced by special events; such as ritual workings, field trips, workshops, and various forms of entertainment.

Events scheduled for the Nov-June period are currently listed on the EoP Yahoo Group Calendar and in this announcement. Members of the EoP livejournal community and members of the EoP Yahoo Group will receive 2 reminders (a one-week reminder and a one-day reminder) for each event. Locations may vary due to the activity, but they will always be announced well in advance.

Announcing a weekend workshop and FREE booksigning

author of the recently published book
will present

DATE: Sat. Dec. 4th, 9:30am-9pm & Sun. Dec. 5th, 9:30am-2pm
LOCATION: a private home in the Malden, MA area (T accessible)
COST: $150 -- limited scholarships available

DESCRIPTION: We are a trinity. We have a soul that stores the life-force and speaks in symbols and through play. We have a soul that communicates through speech and listening, through words and energy. We have a soul that is Divine, that is ancestor and teacher. Through exercises, Devotional Dance, play, energy work and song, we will learn to better communicate with all the parts of our soul. We will learn to align ourselves through breath-work and prayer. This is another building block to humanness, and is recommended for all, but especially for advanced practitioners looking to deepen their work. (from http://www.thorncoyle.com/)

Those working with Starhawk’s The Spiral Dance or with other Reclaiming materials may find this workshop especially relevant to their practice, as Starhawk’s model of the Three Selves was originally derived from the Feri Tradition.

ABOUT THORN: A Witch for more than 20 years, Thorn holds the Black Wand of Master and Sorcerer in the Anderson Feri Tradition. She was fortunate to study with the founder of Feri, Victor Anderson, in the years before his death. Also a Reclaiming Tradition priestess, Thorn has taught within that vital tradition for over 10 years. She is an activist committed to social justice, conflict resolution and creative non-violence.

Hey everyone. How are you all? I'm pretty good.

I have been studying Wiccan for a long time. But, I had stopped for like 2 or 3 months.. I started studying Taoism.. I finally got my feet back on the ground after a long hard 2 years of my life. It's still hard.. A lot of things made my life hell. A lot of things still do, lol. But now I know that I am meant to be Wiccan. It has been calling me back. And quite honestly, I should have never left...
